Baby Acne Cure
Baby acne cure has no effective cure, but prevention with gently cleansing the face at least once a day with water and mild baby soap may help.
The reason why there is no real cure for the condition is because it is due to the stimulation of the baby’s sebaceous glands by maternal hormones after delivery. The hormones may cause, in about 20% of babies, the oil glands on the skin to form condition that look like pimples on the cheeks, forehead and chin. As this is an age old condition, there are some well set patterns that occur in many cases (but not all): Often present from 3 weeks of age, though may be present even from the time of deliveryMale babies are more often affected than female babiesThe most frequent type of pimples present are papules (small solid rounded red bumps), while pustules (whiteheads) are less commonMost often, baby acne disappears spontaneously in a few weeks. In severe cases, your doctor may recommend treatment with topical creams. The baby acne condition is not the same as conditions known as Milia or infantile acne.
