Baby Path Clothing
Baby path clothing from baby phat line of clothes is primarily a premiere brand of female hip-hop fashion.
The brand was originally conceived as an addition to a Phat Farm runway show. However, the brand took off when celebrities and supermodels started wearing the baby tees from the new brand. Encouraged by the popularity of the new brand, a decision was made by the owners to launch an entire Baby Phat sportswear collection. The brand has been run by Kimora Lee Simmons since 1998, the leading person in charge of creating, directing and establishing identity for the new denim label. During the brands emergence, she turned out to be the ideal person to merge the worlds of high fashion and hip-hop, partly due to Kimora’s former experience as a fashion model. To that end, at 13, Kimora Lee was already an established model, handpicked in fact by Karl Lagerfeld to be a muse for the House of Chanel. Her modeling career included doing runway shows for Giorgio Armani, Yves St. Laurent, Gianfranco Ferre, Givenchy, Fendi, and Richard Tyler, and appearing in Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar, and other magazines. Since starting the Baby Phat label, the brand has been featured in magazines including Bazaar, Gotham, Seventeen, Star and Vibe which shows how diverse the warm reception for the lifestyle brand has been. If you'd like to experience the latest designs from the brand in person, they are premiered typically during the New York Fashion Week. Celebrity supporters for the brand include, so far, Paula Abdul, Britney Spears, Lil’ Kim, and Alicia Keys. Signature pieces for the brand include jeans with feminine and fun designs, being at the same time glitzy and glamorous, sensuous and sumptuous. Other signature items include outerwear, handbags, shoes, lingerie, jewelry, two limited edition Motorola mobile phones and a signature fragrance.
