Milo has it's origin in the inspiration that the film "Planet of the Apes" has given, and especially the sequel, "Escape from the Planet of the Apes". In the sequel, Milo is the name of the baby ape born to Cornelius and Dr. Zira. In later sequels, "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes" and "Battle for the Planet of the Apes", the baby ape, Milo, grows to the position of a Caesar. As for style, the company is best known for providing urban and hip hop fashion. Their stores are either named BAPE, BAPE Store, Foot Soldier or Bape Exclusive store. The company's line of clothes most often have unique hoodies, which are often very creative and usually feature camouflage in some part of the fabric pattern. The brand has been gaining reputation as many rap and hip-hop stars have started to wear the clothes.
