WhyCry
WhyCry is a baby cry analyser. It aims to analyze why the baby cries listening to the baby's crying for 20 seconds then by digitally analysing the data before indicating the results.
The device was developed by Pedro Monagas, an electronics engineer from Castellar del Valles in Spain in an effort to learn why his own baby was crying.
According to the manufacturer, the device has been clinically tested in Europe, and the tests were conducted when using the device together with the accompanying symptoms chart.
WhyCry is primarily marketed for parents (especially first time parents), childminders, nannies and other carers of young babies.

How WhyCry Works?
There are four things that the WhyCry device monitors:
- Babies crying power
- Frequencies of cry
- Crying intervals
- Associates baby's cry with an established pattern programmed into unit
The range of results is limited to five, indicating whether the baby is hungry, bored, tired, stressed or annoyed.
